Following the acquisition of the VOLCAFE group of companies in 2004, ED & F Man Coffee has become one of the leading coffee merchants in the world. We trade mainstream Arabica and Robusta coffees as well as source and supply speciality gourmet coffees from a number of origins.  

The Head Office of our coffee business is in Winterthur Switzerland.  We have operations in 16 of the top 20 coffee origins worldwide, and sales offices in all the major consuming regions.

Origination

Our company-owned operations are present in countries accounting for over 90% of world production including: Brazil, Cameroon, Colombia, Costa Rica, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Kenya, Tanzania, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Uganda and Vietnam.  We act as merchants and processors in many countries such as Switzerland, Germany, USA and Japan.
